A person who operates a commercial enterprise, even partially, in his own name is called a merchant. (TTK 12. md.) The trade name of a natural person merchant consists of his/her name and surname written without abbreviation. Suffixes may be made to the name and surname in accordance with Article 46 of the TCC. Plural suffixes, names of other persons and foreign words that may create the impression of a partnership should not be used in the title.
